Anaheim's Corey Perry, Vancouver's Daniel Sedin and Tampa Bay's Martin St. Louis have been named the finalists for this year's Hart Trophy, awarded annually to the "player adjudged to be the most valuable to his team."

Emery, Langkow, Laperriere Named Masterton Trophy Finalists
Anaheim's Ray Emery, Calgary's Daymond Langkow and Philadelphia's Ian Laperriere are this year's finalists for the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy, the NHL announced Tuesday.
The award, named for the Minnesota North Stars player who died in 1968 after a head-first fall on the ice, is given to the player "who best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship and dedication to hockey."
Rick Nash Named Team Canada Captain
Hockey Canada announced that Blue Jackets left wing Rick Nash has been named captain for Team Canada at the 2011 IIHF World Championships, which will take place April 29-May 15 in Bratislava and Kosice, Slovakia.
Nash, 26, is a five-time NHL All-Star who led the Blue Jackets in scoring with 32-34-66 in 75 games this season. The Brampton, Ontario native is a Team Canada veteran having represented his country at the 2010 and 2006 Olympic Games, the 2008, 2007 and 2005 World Championships and 2002 World Junior Championships. He won gold medals at the 2010 Olympics and 2007 World Championships (All-Tournament Team selection) and earned silver at the 2008 and 2005 (All-Tournament Team) World Championships and 2002 WJC tournament.
Chara, Lidstrom, Weber Named Norris Trophy Finalists
Boston's Zdeno Chara, Detroit's Nicklas Lidstrom and Nashville's Shea Weber were named finalists Monday for the Norris Memorial Trophy, awarded to the league's best defenseman, according to an ESPN.com report.

Tampa Bay Lightning forward Martin St. Louis is among the three finalists for the Lady Byng award, given to the NHL player who best exemplifies sportsmanship. Dallas' Loui Eriksson and Detroit's Nicklas Lidstrom were also named finalists.
St. Louis and Lidstrom are both six-time finalists for the award, but Lidstrom has never won the award. Eriksson is a first-time finalist.
Coyotes' Andy Miele Wins 2011 Hobey Baker Award
Coyotes center Andy Miele won the 2011 Hobey Baker Award on Friday night. The award, given annually to the NCAA�s best hockey player, was presented at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul Minnesota.
Miele had an outstanding 2010-11 season with Miami University, leading the RedHawks and the entire NCAA with 24-47-71 in just 39 games. Miele averaged an impressive 1.82 points per game while his 24 goals tied for 10th in the country.
Perry, Iginla, Enroth Named NHL's 'Three Stars'
Ducks right wing Corey Perry, Flames right wing Jarome Iginla and Sabres goaltender Jhonas Enroth have been named the NHL's 'Three Stars' for the week ending April 3.
Perry, who led all scorers with eight points (three goals, five assists) in four games, has earned his fourth NHL 'Star' selection in the past four weeks. He was named First Star for the month of March and also garnered Second- and Third-Star weekly honors.
Iginla recorded six points (three goals, three assists) in three games, highlighted by his NHL Milestone 1,000th career point, as the Flames won two of three starts.
